Canada's wonderland, NEW YORK waterpark

Two weeks ago, we spent the day Saturday at Splash Works water park with some PVTistes!
A real treat! The heat that descends on Toronto for 3 weeks we tired, we choke, stuns us.

A full day to paddle, slide down slides on a buoy ... perfect for cooling off

Walkie Talkies Protocol

St James Town

Yesterday, a French friend living on the 26th floor of the building as we said,
"Go on Wikipedia, and slap St James Town, Toronto.

St James Town is the neighborhood where one lives in Toronto. It is "stuck" in Downtown, you can go in 20 minutes in the Eaton Center on foot in 30 minutes ... and yet the lake in St James Town is a very poor district, where skyscrapers are home to thousands of people! (I assure you, it is not among the poorest!)

I found this article interesting. Here are some figures and explanations about this "neighborhood" so you know a little better place called "home" for almost 9 months!

St. James Town is a neighborhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada located in the Northeast corner of Downtown. The area is bounded by Sherbourne Street to the west (our street), Bloor Street to the north, Parliament Street and Wellesley Street East to the South.

St. James Town is the largest community "height" of Canada. It consists of 19 skyscrapers, 14 to 32 floors. These massive residential towers were built in the 1960s. Approximately 19,000 people live in one of the 19 laps of the neighborhood, making it the most densely populated community in Canada and one of the most densely populated of any in North America.

St. James Town is one of the poorest areas of Toronto.

St. James Town is 73% "non-white". The 10 most spoken languages after English in this neighborhood are immigrants:

1. Tagalog - 8.1%
2. Tamil - 5.5%
3. Chinese - 2.5%
4. Mandarin - 2.5%
5. Korean - 1.9%
6. English - 1.8%
7. Russia - 1.8%
8. Serbian - 1.4%
9. Bengali - 1.4%
10. Urdu - 1.4%
