This Wednesday, September 22, we began our series on the love of God, and we studied the theme of love and God's wrath through the Bible passage where Jesus drove the merchants Temple of Jerusalem with a whip (Gospel of John, chapter 2, verses 13 to 22).

The passage and questions:

13 The day the Jews celebrate the feast of Passover was near, Jesus went to Jerusalem. 14 He found in the courtyard of the temple, merchants bœœufs, sheep and doves, as well as money changers, settled at their desks. 15 Then he took the strings, made a whip and drove them all the sacred precinct with the sheep and bœœufs, he threw down the money changers and overturned their tables, 16 then said to the merchants of pigeons:

17 The disciples remembered then this passage of Scripture: " The love I have for your house, O God, is a fire in me that I consumes " . 18 Thereupon the Jews said to him

- What miraculous sign can you show us to prove that you have the right to do so?

19 - Tear down this temple, Jesus said to them , and in three days I will raise it.

20 - How? they replied. It took forty-six years to rebuild the Temple, and you, you'd be able to meet in three days!

21 But in speaking of the Temple, Jesus was referring to his own body. 22 Later, when Jesus was resurrected, his disciples remembered that said that, and they believed the Scripture and the words Jesus had spoken.

Background:

• That commemorates the Passover?
  The exodus from Egypt, the Exodus of the Israelites led by Moses more than 1300 years ago.
  
  
• Why are there merchants in the Temple precincts?

Hi all!

For the return, we invite Yohana Tuesday 14 to spend a GBU first evening at her home south of Aix. The address and how to get there:

September is already here, the summer ends gradually ... Everything is going well for us. Last week, William's parents came to visit us ten days. Program: Tour of the City of Toronto, Barrie, Wasaga Beach, The Niagara Falls, Niagara-On-The-Lake, islands, dinner at 360 ° CN Tower. Two busy week and very nice! Indeed, it's always nice to have the visit of French!

Guillaume still works as a bilingual employee at TD. Some of his customers are nice, others are less so, but he's always smiling! Guillaume is after all, who never complains!
From my side, my new job I really like school counselor. It's all new to me so I learn every day, but it is very interesting and exactly what I love most: children and education.

Both having a stable job full time, and our PVT expiring in a month (yes, already 11 months that we live on Canadian soil), we launched a few days ago our visa application Young Professionals the embassy. Therefore expected a positive response (before Oct. 2 preferably ...).

That's about all I think. I will not go into details of our life or I would say that the squirrel comes back for a few days in the apartment that afternoon, we'll play golf with friends, that William is about to get the laundry to the laundromat, wearing one of my mini shorts beach ... ahem, yes, I'll stop there!
