Mandingoand Black Woman

What's up?

Sunday, June 27, 2010, 11:10

Because it feels good to sleep ... a true sleeping in, as we like. This morning, we take our time. Breakfast lovers, checkage mails, shower, and then we'll go to the city. Come see the damage in the center.

It is still better at home ...

Tonight we go to the Scorpions concert at the Molson Amphitheatre. That should be quite as magical concert.
For those who do not know too much:

The Molson Amphitheatre

is located southwest of Toronto, near the lake, Ontario Place. It opened in 1995 and can accommodate 16,000 people. It is a semi-open theater that is so open only from May to September.

On our jobs, William, always at TD. He receives many calls in English and Quebecois and returned punctured the evening. Friday, because the G20, he went to work in Scarborough, east of Toronto. Entire business district was barricaded for the summit.

For me, the holidays finally arrive. I work until Wednesday noon and after, off for 2 ½ weeks.
In fact, I have to talk to my boss tomorrow because I will have to resign. Morally too tired, too much flexibility in my schedule I can not stand and then there's also the story of a visa. And yes, already nine months that we are with our PVT, so in three months, it will apply for another visa in order to stay on Canadian soil.
Through a friend, manager of a tutoring agency, I began to teach a student of 5th. I see her 4 times a week all summer and in September I hope to be a substitute teacher in the long term. Nothing is done, but this friend is quite known among schools in Toronto and he thinks he can help me. Because yes, nanny is good, but what I want to do is professor. Briefly, after a good period of doubt and questioning, these tutoring lessons have given me motivation and I hope more than ever to work fully to do what I always wanted to do: teach!

Apart from that, and although it always benefits the bottom of our weekends and the city. And I repeat ... we love Toronto!

Moreover, as we plan on staying, we invested in a lounge (sofa + TV cabinet). They are:

I enjoy being on vacation to look after photos of NYC and the weekend at the cottage (indeed, it was decided last night with friends we were going very quickly reschedule a!)

Jack Astors Crab And Lobster Dip

G20 Toronto

As you know, the G20 summit being held in Toronto right now. We went for a walk on Yonge Street, the main street of the city, and we ended up in the middle of the "Apocalypse" ...

This is a slide comprising some pictures of these windows. Toronto, a city usually very quiet and secure was very different today!

Seriously, we were scared. In addition, the weather was gray, stormy sky ... The scary military helicopters hovering over our heads, police officers with mask and bulletproof vest were running in all directions, with walkie-talkie, and the distance mean noise ... Dozens of men dressed in black from head to foot arrive en masse to us. It screams, it screams, it knocks ...
While I film the event, and Sylvie Guillaume saves me a throw umbrella! Well, yes, it's scary! Well it was better that a grenade but hey, that makes pinball anyway! The rioters seized

brick and newspaper boxes, and swing while it violently in the windows of big names, right before our eyes ...

How To Cheat On Gpsphone Pokemon Fire Red

News about the internship

The environmental and socio-economic backwater Mbao is divided into two main parts:

1) Local people and government, associations or professionals with an activity in the creek are surveyed to determine their vision towards the creek, their dependence with the latter and also their expectations.

2) An environmental study is conducted to characterize the degree of naturalness of the study site and the various problems it faces. For example, an analysis of aerial photos and satellite images will help identify the various changes of occupation land since 1954 on the study site. Physical parameters (water depth profile of the creek, plenty of water ...) and physicochemical parameters (salinity, pH, turbidity ...) will also be calculated and analyzed.

Following completion of these studies, recommendations and proposals for restoration, preservation and enhancement of the creek will be made. Then, a monitoring committee for the project will be created with people motivated to save the swamp.

Draft valuation of Typha australis

for parallel these studies, with Mr. Ibrahima Ndoye (chemist and dyer), a transformation project Typha australis fuel for drying of fish is ongoing. Indeed, a group of women Mbao is drying fish. At first, they burn the fish. Then they remove the skin of it to dry and season with salt.

But cooking fish is done using cardboard on the beach which is harmful to the environment and human health.

Moreover, by this method the smoked fish is of poor quality. Indeed, the fish skin is charred over much which makes it difficult to remove it before drying and salting.

However, these Women have furnaces currently unused because they lack access to fuel suitable for them.

The project will be to transform Typha australis, an invasive species, into fuel for these furnaces. For this, the plant is crushed and mixed with mud to make dumplings. After drying, these pellets are lit and can cook the fish.

We have already conducted the experiment with a few fish in an oven made with a shoestring. This turns out to be a success.
For now, we manufacture a large quantity of pellets to try to cook a large quantity of fish with furnaces women.
Stay tuned ...

How Does The Macy's Prepaid Card Work?

Update!

We Monday, June 21, the longest day of the year, day of the been , the feast of music ...

In Toronto, the sun and warmth await you!
What's new with us:

- Photos and Videos of New York argue (sort, crop, resize etc.). All this will be online in a few days, maybe a little more, but it will come !

- The slide below shows the pictures taken last weekend at Woofstock, annual festival for dogs in Toronto! You can see all breeds of dogs, dressed, coiffed and manicured even strutting in the streets of St. Lawrence Market. It's pretty funny, because some dogs are really ugly and ridiculous, and when one wants to take a picture, just for fun, their master (ess), proud (e) said "smiiile" to his dog! But of course!

- Additional photos also arrive (after those of New York). These are the ones this weekend, 18, 19 and 20 June
is in fact responsible for a weekend cottage near Arden, 3-hour drive northeast of Toronto.
It was 10, had rented a cottage in a very isolated, with private jetty, a small motorboat, canoe, campfire, barbecue, jacuzzi ... Lake Kennebec virtually nothing for us peace , singing birds, the Canadian wilderness ... It was a really good weekend, very resourceful. It is Monday and already we feel nostalgic ... Saying that yesterday at this hour, one canoe trip with William on the peaceful lake while nature awoke slowly ...
Photos coming on! A remake as soon as possible! That's the Canadian Dream for us ...
